Objective The research objective is to study and model membrane separation processes at the microscopic scale. I propose to exploit microfluidic platforms that contain a certain membrane separation challenge to be studied; i.e. biofouling, overlimiting current, and concentration polarization. Each challenge will be the topic for an individual PhD student.
