Objective
- To gather information on methods of costing road accidents, cost components and unit costs in the countries taking part
- To analyse and evaluate any variations between the various methods of calculation and prepare, if possible, recommendations to standardize costing methods.
CURRENT STATUS
Phase 1 (data gathering; state of the art) was completed in 1989.
Phase 2 (analysis) has begun.
WORK PLANNED
In 1990: Management Committee to consider the Commission's study and conclusions on the comparison of national methods.
In 1991: launch of Phase 3 - evaluation.
