Final Report Summary - PROPASS (Technical assistance to Slovak SMEs in proposal preparation)
The main objective of the project was to assist Slovak small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to write Sixth Framework Programme (FP6) programme objectives and calls addressed proposals. In order to achieve this, a number of activities were conducted. SME needs and interests were mapped within all implemented PROPASS information days (ID). PROPASS ID participants (number 349 in total) have completed the PROPASS form focused on SME innovative activities, potential project ideas, cooperation with the universities, and research institutions and foreign partners. The total number of PROPASS workshop participants reached 76 and 19 participants have started and accomplished the preparation and finalisation phase of their project proposals.
The project team and project participants (SMEs) have effectively used the http://www.euprojekt.sk/propass portal, i.e. project web portal. This portal consists of two parts: (i) public and (ii) internal web portal (hidden part of the public section). The internal web portal served the purpose of collaborative environment for development of the FP6 project proposal for consortium members and PROPASS advisors residing in different geographic locations. PROPASS project management related documentation was updated using the above-mentioned hidden part of the project web portal.
