Objective
This proposal aims to continue with the project of IRC Portugal (CPI) proposing a set of services designed to overcome the shortfall in the technology transfer and exploitation of Community RTD results. Being our core business transnational technology transfer, we have developed a workplan specially set up to maximise results in this domain, encouraging technology endogeneisation as well as strengthening domestic technological capabilities, by promoting through the IRC Network state of the art technologies developed by Portuguese RTD performers. The three partners Agência de Inovacao, INESC Porto and TecMinho, have complementary competencies in innovation exploitation and funding, innovation management, IPR, technology watch and transnational technology transfer. Our services will identify industrial needs and technological offers matching them through the transnational platform of the IRC Network, providing all the necessary assistance for the effective realisation of the technology transfer process reaching successful agreements. We also target less technologically mature companies, to stimulate their understanding of the competitive advantages spurring from innovation through the absorption of new technologies. CPI will be an active member of the IRC Network by participating in thematic groups, collaborating in joint events and contributing for the exchange of best practices thus improving the overall impact of the IRCs.
