Objective
The IRC node "IRC Central Sweden" has three partners:- Acreo AB, co-ordinator, is an R&D institute performing advanced applied research, product and technology development in microelectronics and optics.- Almi Foeretagspartner Uppsala AB, partner, is a public company with a complete range of services for advice, support and business development to SMEs and entrepreneurs.- My-arbete, partner, is a business consulting company in one of the most dynamic SME cluster regions in Sweden. The consortium covers 11 counties in the central and eastern parts of Sweden, with a very diverse industrial and R&D structure; large international corporations with global business organisations, advanced research and education institutions but also a large number of SMEs and environments that generate innovative product concepts. The formation of an IRC node that has the capability to deal with this diversity has been an important concern.3 work-packages, each of them sub-divided into more detailed tasks, are planned: In WP1, Services to IRC clients, 64 TTT agreements are set as objective. 800 new clients will be recruited, 100 of them assisted with professional Technology Audits. In WP2, Services to the IRC network, 134 TRs and 154 TOs will be published on the IRC BBS. Also, IRC Central Sweden will be active in 4 Thematic groups, as well as in 32 IRC brokerage events and 12 technology missions, arranged by IRC Central Sweden as well as other IRCs. In WP3, Internal IRC matters, reports and documents to the EC and IRC network secretariat will be delivered in compliance with their requests from the Commission. Also, the internal management and co-ordination of IRC Central Sweden is included in WP3.The total resource input planned for is 3800 person-days and the total project cost is estimated at EUR 3 407 757.
