Objective
The consortium consisting of the Information Processing Centre (OPI) located in Warsaw, of the Centre for Technology Transfer located in Gdansk and the Incubator Foundation in Lodz is going to create and develop within its organisation an infrastructure, hereinafter called "Innovation Relay Centre of the Central Poland (IRC-CP)". IRC-CP will develop sufficient infrastructure for promotion of the inward and outward transnational transfer of research results and technologies, in accordance with the regional needs expressed by the industrial fabric of the central part of Poland, in order to improve its competitiveness through innovation. The Central Poland geographic area is an "innovation and TTT less-favoured region", as average of the Candidate Countries, so IRC-CP is going to stress its activities on stimulating the capacity of firms to adopt new technologies. IRC-CP is going to operate in synergy with the national structures and in actively use of the European IRC Network as an integral part of its strategy and operational work. IRC-CP commits itself to work and co-operate with other IRCs. The Innovation Relay Centre Central Poland will take part in all IRC co-ordination activities at national and European level. It will act in synergy with the existing complementary national and regional structures and initiatives. The IRC-CP will be primarily carrying out actions and delivering services which include a transnational technology transfer at the cross-border level between IRC Network member countries.
