Objective
The goal of TRAYSS PRIME is to train young European scientists from the field of LifeScience and Health in the use of modern and state-of-the-art management tools, and to raise the awareness for the possibilities of international cooperation in order to boost European research competitiveness. To this end, an introductions to Innovation Management, Intellec- tual Property Management and Science and Research Management will be given, with EU Proposal Management as a core module. Furthermore, innovative management methods and philosophies, such as Total Quality Management,Science Ethics and Public Relations shall enable TRAYSS PRIME participants to find new pathways for cost efficiency, customer focussing and raise interest in the exploitation of research results. The expertise of TRAYSS PRIME is focussed on scientific training, project management and technology transfer:Steinbeis Foundation as the project leader brings 30 years of expertise in technology and knowledge transfer related issues to the project. ProSciencia GmbH & Co. KG - tribute their expertise in Research Management sultancy and training and the ScanBalt Network is prominent in the field of European life science networking and, particularly, as a communication channel to young scientists. External experts will be integrated in order to provide optimal specific know-how where necessary. The implementation of the goal is reached by lectures and interactive workshops, held as 'satellites' to existing international topic-related ferences and trade fairs, as well as a summer/winter school. After completion of TRAYSS PRIME,a critical mass of young scientists will have had tact to the project.During the seven events planned in the Baltic Sea Region, some 250 scientists will have been trained in at least one module and will act as multipliers for the know-how. In addition, optimised seminars for future use will have been developed, based on the evaluations performed during the project.
