Objective

The newly established European Ocean Energy Association (EU-OEA) is seeking financial support from the EC for activities aimed to complement other instruments in the implementation of the Framework Programme. This proposal for the Specific Support Actions intended to support EU-wide dissemination of information and activities relative to the development of Ocean Energy to become a significant contributor to renewable energy generation in Europe. The aim of the proposed activities is to contribute and actively support implementation of activities of the Framework Programme, analysis and dissemination of results, and definition of future activities, with a view to enable the Community to achieve its RTD strategic objectives.
