Objective
In it is long-reaching effects the proposed project aims at influencing the patterns of innovation activity and R&D in enterprises (mainly SMEs but in general with relation to large companies). This is a generic challenge facing as good as all European member states. In particular the project focuses on how companies innovate in global value chains and how public support measures, with focus on RTOs , can facilitate these processes. The instrument to achieve this long-term objective will be to set up an INNO-Net project that will tackle the main challenges facing national agencies in supporting innovation activities in enterprises active in global value chains. The overall goal of the herewith proposed Specific Support Action ,DEFINE, is to establish the best possible pre-conditions for developing a high-quality INNO-Net with the above-mentioned focus.
