Objective
This initiative will enable a leading American Space Architect and author of multiple NASA "Disclosures of Invention and New Technology" innovation documents to travel to, and work with the leading University in Ireland and a cutting-edge space-meets-humanities SME participating in the European Space Agency Incubator Initiative and having close links with leading European space scientists and astronauts.
The incoming fellow will work with Space Synapse Ltd. on the implementation of an ESA-supported project for public participation and co-experience in the Columbus space programme. She will bring her hands-on experience of working with NASA, with Lockheed Martin and with Futron to the consortium. This additional and external expertise will be very valuable.
The incoming fellow will be hosted by Space Synapse Ltd., an Irish Space SME participating at The European Space Agency Incubator Initiative located at ESTEC in Noordwijk, the Netherlands, in partnership with Trinity college located in Dublin, Ireland. She will work on a day-to-day basis at both premises, adding value to shared activities of both bodies.
