Objective

The Definition Phase Study 'Science-i' addressed Action Line 1 of the eContent Programme. Science-i explored how Public Sector Information (PSI), in particular geographical and environmental information can be used as input for the provision of rich pedagogical eLearning products and services.

Best practice PSI PPP frameworks were developed to establish new collaboration schemes with Public Agencies. A number of showcases were produced to support the exploitation of the business concept and the awareness activity of the project. The consortium included innovative players in the eLearning domain, a public agency and a market development consultancy company.
