Objective
The objective of EIPCOT was to tackle the current European barriers within companies' transmission process and offer services to boost the process of European integration.
Companies' creation/transmission process impacts on both economic growth and the social environment of countries. EIPCOT is designed to create more and better business opportunities, proposing state aids related to that process and value-added services. This was done by combining public and private information and making it available to citizens on the Internet regardless of location, language or cultural barriers.
The EIPCOT definition phase project focused on an in-depth analysis in three European countries (France, Italy and Spain) in order to develop the Web site prototype. Specific conditions in these countries were be taken into account, and the analysis was in line with the ambitions of the European Union.
EIPCOT built a substantial information base with already existing data, aimed at improving the collaboration between international public authorities, administrations and private companies by sharing information on state aids and companies' transmission offers in order to create a European market place accessible to all net users.
