Assessment of key business, technical and localisation aspects for the successful deployment of a multilingual equity analysis web service in Europe

Objective

The EUtrek project aimed to identify the key elements for successful implementation of a multilingual and localised equity analysis Web service. This service was to provide access to high-level information on many European and some international markets. It is therefore an essential tool for knowledge-based equity investment decisions.

The work on the project consisted of three steps:
- First, market research identified demands in various European markets and provided a better, more comprehensive image of the EU market;
- Secondly, an assessment of localisation and technical requirements for the successful adaptation of the service to European markets was performed;
- Third, a deployment strategy as well as a business and marketing plan for the commercial exploitation of the service were set up. A follow-up action plan recorded in detail the consortium's actions after the completion of the project. Awareness and dissemination activities were also scheduled, at both local and European levels.
