Objective
EuroTesting served to develop a multilingual platform for delivering tests through the Internet to ensure a wider European presence in the field of psychological testing.
The platform was implemented with three psychological assessment instruments from the area of Work and Organisational Psychology (W/O) and human resources (HR), all of which were developed in Europe and are presently available in only one European language. It was planned to translate the tests and adapt them to four language/cultural contexts (Italian, German, Spanish and Hungarian) according to modern psychometric standards, in order to provide such localised versions with maximum reliability and validity.
EuroTesting resulted in a multilingual online testing system with three tests in four different languages, addressed mainly toward W/O psychologists, HR professionals and multinational companies. It represents the first step toward a pan-European test catalogue and a multilingual web portal of psychological products and services.
