Objective
The project will consist in analysis, comparison and dissemination of the most important results obtained in sustainable mobility projects by means of two one day thematic conferences and a final conference organization.
The first conference is on socio-economic and environmental barriers to the diffusion of new vehicles concepts.
The second conference topics consist of vehicles, in particular zero and near-zero emission propulsion system, components and infrastructures to storage and deliver new low environmental impact fuels.
During the conclusive conference day the final analytic reports of the previous specific topic conferences and the big demonstrative international projects will be shown, and strengths and barriers of the several research works will be compared. The conferences are intended for EU funded projects, but owing to global issues, also the key actors of main non European projects will be involved.
The conference about socio-economic barriers is foreseen in May 2007, in Prague, Czech Republic. The event will be organized by the Charles University - Environment Centre, Prague. The industries and the research centres working in this field will disseminate the main purposes reached.
The conference about infrastructures and vehicles is established in September 2007 in London, United Kingdom.
The conference organization will be the result of the joint cooperation between the Imperial College of London and the IST Instituto Superior Tecnico of Lisbon.
The final conference will be in November 2007, in Rome, Italy, organized by CIRPS-University of Rome "La Sapienza".
