Objective A novel approach to (quantum) gravity and cosmology will be investigated. It is inspired by ideas of gauge-theory / gravity-string theory correspondence. The underlying theory generating gravity is a large-N four-dimensional gauge theory. The graviton is a bound state of glue. It will have a mass, which should be tiny as well as structure. This may give a solution to late acceleration and cosmological constant problems. Gravity is induced on the SM fields and the associated cosmology is of the mirage (probe -brane type).Gravity should be four-dimensional over a large range of scales via a combination of RS localisation and induced gravity mechanisms.
