Multi-brokerage system on composite and nano-composite area to build new partnership and launch project proposal in South East of Europe

Objective

The proposal aims to increase the awarness and to build new partnerships for launching new project proposals with large participation of South Eastern Europe SMEs (Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Hungary, Moldova, Romania, Slovenia, Turkey), industrial compan ies and research units. The area of interest is focus on composites and nanocomposites (thermoplastics; polymer films for packaging; synthetic fibers; adhesives). The proposal is structured on the preparation and the organization of 3 regional brokera ge events in Romania, in 3 (three) different cities (Bucharest, Constanta, Timisoara) on the topics indicated above. Our Center's experience in collaborative projects as well as on organising brokerage event (our staff did some events in Romania within EUREKA framework) is showing that for an event with 35-40 companies (local and foregners), we can launch 6-8 new project ideas (applied research and partnership between research units and industrial companies or SMEs). Our local contacts will offer us th e possibility to identify project ideas and local participating companies and research units. During the preparation of the brokerage events, we will have the assistance and support of similar Center for linkage between research and industry, from Ital y (FILAS - The Developement Agency of Lazio Region and TETRA - Technology Transfer Centre of Consorzio Pisa Ricerche), Spain (Programma Innova of Universität Politecnica de Barcelona), Germany (Center of Technology Assessment in Baden Wurtemberg), as wel l as different Eureka National Offices. They will provide participating companies from their countries. The indicators mentioned above (35-40 companies per brokerage event and 6-8 new launched project proposals) will be the goals of each event.
