Objective
The objective of the proposal is to organise a set of three conferences in Cracow (Poland), focused on catalysis and catalytic technologies. Institute of Catalysis and Surface Chemistry (ICSC) is the only entity in Poland and one of a few in the world focu sed entirely on multidisciplinary catalytic research. The rôle of the institute will be: - to establish an efficient tool for dissemination of knowledge within the country; - to form and maintain creative links with the leading scientists and institutions in Europe; - to exchange information and identify by discussion new problems in catalysis, focused both on fundamental research and industry-driven applied research. Institute will strengthen existing and form new links between universities and industrial enterprises in Poland. The proposal will help to establish and strengthen links between the ICSC and similar entities in Europe, thus integrating it into the European Research Area.
