Objective
The strategy of Madrid IRC during the period 2004-2008 will be focused on solving technological problems emerged from Madrid SMEs. In that sense, those tasks related to the identification of technological needs as well as the management of technology reque sts have been strengthened with regards to the 2000-2004 project. During the proposal period, Technology Watch reports will be carried out as part of the commercialisation processes, trying to reach a better quality of services. Such reports will have a double utility; on one hand, a technology watch analysis has shown a valuable tool for the preparation of technology offers. On the other, Madrid IRC will use such analysis as support for inward technology transfer processes. Also, during the next acti vity period, Madrid IRC will develop other added value services oriented to give better support to regional clients. The acquired experience will be shared with the IRC network by presentating of good practices, participation and contribution in workshop s and direct collaboration with other IRCs. Related to the networking activities, two main objectives have been identified as priority for the next period. First, Madrid IRC will continue its activity in the pilot activities promoted by the C.U. oriented to improve the quality of the results and also will increase its participation and visibility in TT events.
