Objetivo
The SITTT project will provide for the continuation of the operation of an IRC Project in Israel, based on past experience, concentrating on delivery of quality TTTs, achievement of in depth involvement of the Traditional Industries mainly SMEs in the te chnological improvement process, enhancement of the participation of research Institutes in the TT process, leveraging the TT process and devising new approaches to achieve improved performance. Special attention will be paid to less-favoured regions in Israel. IRC-Israel will provide cost-effective services that promote transnational technological co-operation, which are pertinent to the national needs, provided in coherence with national support programs and will be an active member of the Network of players, intent in improving the European Innovation performance. The structure of the predefined Work Plan will follow Continuous Activities such as contacts with clients, promotion of IRC services, dissemination of Technological Opportunities, and Perio dic activities such as organisation of Workshops and other events, delegations and staff exchanges. The main quantitative objectives include signing a total of 26 TTTs over the project's period, out of 100 Technological Matches, performance of 64 audits at SMEs (the Inwards TTs will address mainly the traditional industries, requiring technological upgrade) and publishing 375 Technological Opportunities. All RTD results from EU Community research, and from the ESA and EUREKA programs, available for 3d party exploitation, will be promoted and disseminated. IRC-Israel will address Innovation Financing as well as IPR issues. The project will be carried out by two organisations: MATIMOP-Israeli Industry Center for R&D (the coordinator) and MAI-Manufa cturers Association of Israel. Both partners are well experienced in European projects:Both partners employ high skilled and professional staff and will employ external experts when required
