Innovation relay centre in Lithuania

Objective

The aim of the IRC Lithuania project is to maintain and further develop a high level of service capability in delivering successful transnational technology transfer to Lithuanian clients, benefiting from and actively contributing to IRC network. IRC Lit huania consortium -Lithuanian Innovation Centre and Science and Technology Park - have extensive experience in promoting advantages of transnational technology transfer among Lithuania's enterprises and other clients and supporting those enterprises in a chieving transnational technology agreements. IRC Lithuania gives all the support necessary to participate in transnational technology transfer, starting fromawareness to signature of agreement. Partner's in-house specialists provides advice on innovatio n management, strategic management, marketing and specific technology issues. IRC Lithuania maintains an interface to specialist services to technology-oriented organisations: technology, financial issues including public funding, venture and risk capita l. A new possibility for clients includes transnational technology co-operation in their innovation projects to be financed by Structural Funds. By delegation and financial support of its shareholder - the Ministry of Economy, Lithuanian Innovation Centr e established its representative offices across all ten counties of Lithuania. The innovation support network will ensure good geographical coverage and be used to bring IRC sevices closer to the clients. Enterprises will get tangible benefits increasi ng their competitiveness from 26 technology transfer agreements and will achieve new level of knowledge in technology trends and increase their capacity in innovation, in particular transnational innovation partnership.
