Objective
The main objective of this project is to set up an IRC, to promote TTT together with stimulating the capacity of enterprise to adopt new technologies, according to needs expressed by local clients and the IRC network. The IRC aims at playing a key role in the Lombardy Region as a point of reference for SMEs in TTT matters: in a context of SMEs with a high attitude towards internationalisation but intrinsic difficulties in dealing with innovation matters, IRC services can effectively support regional policie s to improve competitiveness. The proposing Consortium is formed by Cestec, Lombardy Region Agency for Innovation for SME's, Chamber of Commerce of Milan, Politecnico Innovazione and Fast, that will share and combine their experience so as to promote syne rgies among them. Cestec, through its important experience in dealing with SMEs, will co-ordinate the IRC. Lombardy Region, the Regional Authority, strongly supports IRC initiative and will participate to IRC Steering Committee in order to give strategic advise to the IRC Partners. It will also contribute financially to 50% of the costs incurred.The Chamber of Commerce will provide a privileged access to local industrial domain, while CPI,the technology transfer Agency of Politecnico di Milano and Fast, the major Italian technical Association, will also provide the Consortium with their long experience matured as partner of the network since its very beginning.The work-plan has been designed with the aim of identifying and analysing technology needs, dr awing technology profiles, developing transnational links in the framework of a co-operation with the other nodes of the IRC network, in order to achieve 40 successful TT Agreements. The activities to be carried out in terms of: 1)provision of awareness an d information on its services among local companies (in particular to SMEs);2)contact of potential clients and 3)deliver targeted assistance services to support them in actual TTT project
