Objective
"Researchers Mobility Assistance in Denmark" will be developed to facilitate the provision of enhanced quality services supporting mobile researchers, their employers, and counterparts in the European Network of Mobility Centers through the mobilization and structuring of both existing and new resources. Basically there are three activities involved in the proposal. Project management, network activities and direct information and assistance. Network activities comprises "Setting up the network" and "Animating the network". Direct information and assistance entails the development of the Danish mobility Website "Workindenmark" as well as the development of information products for mobile researchers, and, through the creation of a hotline, personalised assistance. A number of Danish research institutions and enterprises already have information services for mobile researchers. The assistance, however, is both sporadic and mostly decentralized and the active guidance is neither systematic nor consistent at the national level. The proposed "Researchers' Mobility Assistance in Denmark" addresses this problem, the aim being to gradually create a more formalized Danish mobility network with a common understanding of goals and service levels as well as efficient mechanisms for building up and sharing of competence both nationally and at European level.During the project period the effort will yield both promotional and informative brochures, as well as electronically stored information material, created specifically for the mobility network and for the mobile researchers. An intranet, housing a database will be at the disposal of the bridgehead and the contact points, as well as an updated and expanded Danish mobility website. EuroCenter (EC) under the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MSTI) is the coordinator of the project and the National Agency for Enterprise and Housing (NAEH) is the partner.
