Objective
The main aim of ERA-Slovakia is to establish a reliable and coordinated support system for mobility of researchers that will be accessible and will provide timely and high quality information and services to incoming and outgoing researchers. During the implementation of this three-year project two mobility centres in SAIA, N.O. (Bratislava) and at the Technical University of Ko?ice will be set up. The Mobility Centres will become the first entry points for researchers, helping in more general issues. Researchers will be signposted to the local host institutions, invited by the Mobility Centres to create the Mobility Contact Points Network which will play a significant role in further information dissemination. The Mobility Centres will organise a series of workshops for the network, presenting up-dated information regarding mobility of researchers and building the capacity of the network to offer the best proximity assistance. An important part of the project will be creation of the national mobility portal contributing to the establishment of more favourable environment for mobility of researchers. Project will also enable creation of information handbooks for incoming and outgoing researchers in paper and electronic form. The project impact will be displayed in increase of " foreign researchers awareness on research opportunities in the Slovak Republic and their access to research stays and job opportunities offered by Slovak institutions, " Slovak researchers´ awareness on international mobility and secondarily support Slovak researchers to expand research cooperation on international level, " future research cooperation between the Slovak Republic and other countries with positive impact on Slovak and European economy. The project will contribute to the creation of the network of mobility centres on European level and development and integration of the Slovak research to the European Research Area.
