TURKISH MOBILITY NETWORK

Objective

Through establishment of the mobility network at the national level, TR-MONET aims at removing obstacles to the mobility of incoming and outgoing researchers as well as creating synergy through the "European Network of Mobility Centres" in making Europe an attractive place for the research talent from all over the world. In particular, the Turkish Mobility Network: -shall help incoming researchers by providing information related to their stay and to cultural aspects, -shall provide personalized assistance to incoming researchers in obtaining work permits, -shall organize an annual orientation program for incoming researchers, -shall organize social activities for incoming researchers, -shall organize pre-departure orientation for outgoing Turkish researchers, -shall cooperate with the mobility centres in other European countries, -shall publicize in the third countries to attract the best researchers to Turkey as well as Europe. The activities towards achieving these goals will include: -Establishment of by-laws for the efficient and smooth operation of the Network, -Selection and training of personnel, -Preparation and publication of information packages, -Preparation of mobility portal, -Awareness raising activities in Turkey, -Organization of information events for the researchers of the third countries. The target of the project is to establish 6 mobility centres in Turkey which will be an integral part of the "European Network of Mobility Centres".
