Objective
The proposed project will provide a generic Standards Comparison Methodology suitable for comparison of standards from different international standardisation bodies. This developed methodology will be validated by performance of a comparison of selected standards applicable for Ukrainian and West-European space industry. The level of equivalence will be determined by a ranking scheme, and residual differences between the selected standards with respect to their scope and objectives will be elaborated. Necessary harmonisation potentials for the compared standards will be identified in view of mutual acceptability, and means will be proposed to implement this harmonisation potential as identified by the proposed project.
Finally, exploitation and dissemination potentials for all project results will be identified and a related implementation strategy including the necessary supporting activities will be elaborated and proposed. This will include dissemination to and exploitation to other NIS countries, other EU member states, other standardisation systems as well as other industry branches.
