This project will provide an objective rationale for limiting the input of wastes from fish farms into the environment, provide local authorities with information.
This project involves study of the characteristics of effluent discharges from Irish salmon and trout farms, and determination of characteristics of fish farm sludges with propsoals on appropriate disposal options.
