Content village

Objective

The success of the first phase of Content Village achieved under the project PICK is most of all proven by an excellent user appreciation. During the second phase, Content Village will build on this success with a primary focus on the provision of high added value content, aimed at the European digital content industry at large, and thus contributing to a multiplier effect.

Content Village goes beyond the direct collection and dissemination of programme results; interactively it identifies areas for action, analyses best and good practice, showcases projects, addresses themes relevant to the digital content industry, analyses this industry and pro-actively builds a digital content community. Furthermore the platform serves as major information resource for the industry.

During the transition phase from Month 19 to Month 21 Content Village will develop into a self-sustainable service.
