NOORDUNG'S MOBILITY SOLUTIONS-A Tool to Solve Scientific Travel Problems '

Objective

The Centre for Mobility and European Educational and Training Programmes (CMEPIUS), designated by the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport is an organization responsible for Socrates, Leonardo da Vinci programmes as well as other initiatives and bilateral agreements, covering mobility. Its daily tasks are personalized assistance and technical support to individual mobility and organizations submitting project proposals. As far as mobility is concerned the centre acts as a point of entry for foreign individuals looking for practical information and guidance concerning studying or working in Slovenia. The Centre's task is also the linking with relevant ministries, social partners, chambers, regional development agencies in order to provide for up-to-date information for the incomings as well as Slovene institutions, dealing with mobility. The Centre works on a daily exchange of information or problem solving with other National agencies abroad as well as with the European Commission. The centre actively participates in many working groups for thematic monitoring, quality issues of mobility and the simplification processes. Due to Centre's central role, designated by the Ministry, the project represents a unique opportunity to bring together different organizations and institutions, which will form a national network in the field of research. Moreover the Centre is in the position to cooperate with national and local authorities, responsible for the implementation of legal and administrative procedures, which represent one of the main issues to be tackled in order to promote and facilitate research mobility to Slovenia.
