Objective
“Science in SEVEN ways” will invite for the fourth year again the public to come, play, talk and learn about researchers. The event will take place in 7 major cities from all over Romania, in over 14 locations (research institutes, museums, shopping centers, public places, subway stations) and aims to reach 35000 qualitative interactions, over 100 researchers, students and teachers and over 300000 prs to be exposed to the awareness campaign. The awareness campaign will start from the first month, with a major component of the internet and social media tools. Also, a contest will be launched “2200 Science Lab” where individuals will work with researchers in order to promote their idea of the science lab in the year 2200. In this way we maintain the contact between the researchers and the new generation from various layers of society. The whole event of 2013 will be as a “SCIENCE MAP” where visitors will come and will be guided through various fields and types of experiences (demonstrations, experiments, games, interactive discussions). Although the public tends in this kind of events to discuss only scientific subjects, the personal side of the researchers will be highlighted through informal discussions, quizzes, Wanna be medals. In Bucharest, the event will be organized in several subway stations so that the public at large to be exposed to the concept. The logo of the previous years will be maintained as a theme in order to create a link with previous years and awareness of the European and national dimension of the event.
