VALIDATION AND TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER OF METAL CERAMIC COMPOSITE COATINGS OBTAINED BY ELECTROLYTIC CO-DEPOSITION ON ALUMINIUM

Objective



The project concerns the industrial validation and technology transfer of a metal/ceramic hard coating on aluminium parts, thereby improving their mechanical properties. The coating is achieved by means of electrolytic co-deposition. The technology will be validated at Mecaprotec a French SME, on a pilot scale and transferred to Gaser Ossido Duro an Italian SME, and Mecaprotec for industrial applications. This new technique, is expected to replace a costly Japanese process
