Summary of the context and overall objectives of the project

The main aim of this project has been to explore ways in which we can deliver air haptic feedback using acoustic and other electromagnetic waves that is silent and perceivable without touching the actuators.

We have managed to create a tactile feedback mechanism that is silent and eliminates most audible noises when creating both a single and multiple tactile points

The results have been patented and the company ultrahaptics (www.ultrahaptics.com) which been established is flourishing. We expect the company to be launching products shortly.
