Periodic Reporting for period 1 - THURINN (Assessment and capacity building on innovation management for potential- and successful proposers of the HORIZON 2020 SME calls)

The service has been introduced and implemented in Thuringia. Since there were no successful proposers of the H2020 SME Instrument from our region, the services offered by the THURINN Project in 2014 were all targeting the enhancement of SME Innovation management capacity.
The service has been initially implemented in Thuringia. Since there were no successful proposers for the H2020 SME Instrument yet, the Key Account Management Services didn´t apply. Nevertheless all preparations and Trainings have been conducted in order to have the Service available as soon as it will be needed.
First clients recieved services in order to enhance their Innovation Management capacity. As described in the proposal a certified tool was used for analysing their current innovation management capacity and identify potential gaps.

As final results and potential impacts the clients are expected to have an improved Innovation Management System in place, which will enable them to successfully unveal their Innovation potential e.g. by increase their competitiveness (incl. rise efficiency, optimize processes, develop or improve sales or marketing strategy...) access new markets or applying for H2020 SME instrument or other international Projects. For the moment it is to early to assess those Impacts for the clients served initially, but will be conducted in the Project periods to follow.
