Guidance on including SLALOM in research

This report serves as a guide to project coordinators, policymakers, exploitation managers and cloud research heads as to how to incorporate the reality of the legal framework – including the SLALOM terms – into the research in order to maximise the value of the research and its exploitation.

First draft of the terms for discussion in the consensus groups

Draft of terms and conditions taking into consideration common legal requirements.

Report on Jurisprudence and case law

Draft of memo concerning how the project dealt with the main legal issues in accordance with applicable law and regulation and case law. Much of the work herein correlates to T2.1 and done in the initial months of the project and interim versions will be prepared and circulated as dissemination. This formal deliverable will include updates following the actual codification and consensus tasks.

Final Legal Terms for adoption

Revised draft of terms and conditions in the light of the opinions/feedback of the consensus groups from all tracks (technical, cloud providers and cloud adopters) and the policy makers.

Cloud adopters' adoption assessment

This report will summarize the feedback from the cloud adopters with respect to the incorporated legal terms of the SLALOM SLA model. The provided information will be anonymized, will serve as a critical document for moving forward in the post-project phase, and will offer insight to the ECP and other policy groups.

Initial position paper (technical)

This deliverable will provide a position paper identifying the key scenarios being developed by the projects with an absolute emphasis on their bearing on, requirements of, and assumptions of cloud contracts and SLAs. This deliverable is the starting point for the codification of these aspects into the SLALOM terms.
