IMPLEMENTATION OF A HIGH PERFORMANCE VISUAL NCMACHINE IN THE SME ENVIRONMENT

Objective

The project aimed to develop a high performance Visual NC Machine that moves the complicated verification process of NC programmes on the shop floor into software visualisation. The Visual NC Machine implemented was based on a prototype simulation system of a former BRITE project and used standard SME software/hardware environment (PC and Windows).
