Report on the social right of EU citizens to long‐term care

Description of the EU legal framework on the entitlement of people in need of care to access quality long‐term care services

Feasibility Framework Tool for Social Investment

The tool will present the process for defining the outcomes of LTC programmes that will be presented as economically and socially viable investments.

Policy Briefings on promoting investment in long-­term care in Europe

These briefings (which will occur at months 38 & 39) will summarize the key research findings on how EU policy coordination and EU regulatory framework can best support social investment in long--term care.

Evaluation of the substitution of formal care by compensated family / informal care

This will report on the implications of policy measures that either attempt to promote greater use of family provision or to improve the position of informal carers.

SROI Framework Application Guide in LTC

Methodology definition for conducting SROI assessments of long-­‐term care schemes and presentation of metrics used to evaluate social impact of investment in long-­‐term care and to assess Social Return on Investment.

Policy Briefings on promoting investment in long-term care in Europe

A briefing on M38 will summarize the key research findings on how EU policy coordination and EU regulatory framework can best support social investment in long-term care.

Note on the evaluation scale for investments in Long Term Care

The report will present the metric for assessing the implementation of the criteria of social investing in the resourcing of long-­‐ term care programmes.

Impact Map of Long-­‐Term Care Policies

The tool will consist of the Map and an accompanying manual for its interpretation / application

The long‐term care resourcing landscape

Gaining an insight into the resourcing of long-­term care schemes, by presenting a representative sample of different resourcing schemes, the status quo, characteristics, players, legal framework, as well as by analysing the individual performance and impact of the sample of LTC schemes in various countries.

Report on the realization of the LTC right in conjunction to social investment approach

The report will investigate the content and the exercise of the right or entitlement to LTC services at national and at EU level and will analyse the liberalizing impact of social investment approach in the area of LTC and social welfare in general.

SPRINT project Dissemination Activities Report

A full report on the awareness and dissemination activities, stakeholder engagement and media related activities that were implemented for the whole duration of the project, including the materials printed or in electronic format.

Policy guidelines for social investment in Long Term Care

This report will present in a form of a handbook guidelines and regulatory recommendations for policy coordination at national and at EU level with regard to investing in long-­‐term care projects with significant return on investment and positive social impact.

Success Factors Report

Reporting on the factors characterizing efficient investment on long-­‐term care that are empirically documented and theoretically grounded.

Glossary

Description and specification of the issues to be addressed in the topic for establishing a common vocabulary for social investing and of the rationale explaining the resourcing mechanisms of long-­‐term care in the EU countries.

Conceptual report on long-­term care

The objective of this report is to present a generic conceptual framework on long‐term care that will be used to illustrate the starting point of the project. The report will describe the main concepts that will be used in the SPRINT project.

Criteria of Social Investments in LTC

The criteria will be a practical tool for evaluating different kinds of long-term care schemes by assessing them across three key areas: economic return, risk and social impact

Report on the role of public and private actors in delivering and resourcing long‐term care

The report will promote understanding and will document how the growing presence of different actors in the supply and resourcing of long-­term care programmes affects active ageing, economic growth and wellbeing of older people in need of care.
