Developing Protocols to standardize the development and documentation of energy efficiency projects in the built environment and accelerate their financing.

This report will summarise first contacts with the relevant key stakeholders in each country identified as a priority target. As well as stakeholders it will identify specific potential projects and programmes.

The communications plan will include publication of articles in national, regional or industry print and on-line journals in each of the five countries and this deliverable will be report(s) on this coverage.

This report will provide details on the third seminar which will provide an update on the progress of the project and will specifically focus on application of the protocols in a pilot building or programme.

This report will provide details of the second seminar which will be focused on presenting the Protocols to existing and potential new stakeholders of the project.

Publication of adopted and translated Protocols in each of the five countries (opens in new window)

Based on the European version of the Protocols, and considering national circumstances, in particular national legal specificities, expertise and training of the technicians involved, restrictions and/or common practices of financing entities, among others, the Protocols will be adapted and translated by each of the country specific leaders for use in their specific country. The translation will take into account local definitions, working practices and standards. Adaptation will also be guided by national steering groups and assistance from Verco. The translation will take into account local definitions imposed by national legislation, including for example in Portugal the ECO.AP program legislation. In the UK this task will ensure that the Protocols are in line with UK industry practices and standards. As the Protocols are to be drafted in English there will be no language translation required for the UK. The Deliverable is the publication of the Protocols.
