Summary of the context and overall objectives of the project

ADN Mobile has elaborated this study in order to evaluate the feasibility of commercialization at international level of its solution for efficient driving in professional fleets (operating road transport), currently catalogued as a TRL7 technology.
For the realization of the study ADN has been based whenever possible on real information and feedback from the market including representative data from early adopters and pilot projects.

The study carried out has demonstrated the feasibility of commercialization at international level of ADN solution for efficient driving in professional fleets (operating road transport), currently catalogued as a TRL7 technology.
In a first section, the study has carried out a detailed analysis of the business opportunity, taking into account: market nature and size, awareness and demand for efficient driving solutions, economic dimension as well as regulation, policy and freedom to operate considerations.
In a second section, the study has focused on the readiness of the current offer of solutions to match this market, concentrating on the feasibility of ADN to catch up with the demand over the competitors. This second section explores ADN’s: product costs and price; capacity to exploit policies and regulations context, freedom to operate; technological capacity, organization and human technical resources; marketing and commercial plan; and financial

Progress beyond the state of the art and expected potential impact (including the socio-economic impact and the wider societal implications of the project so far)

The conclusions and final results of the study state that:


1. There exists an increasing concern for this kind of solutions in all the road transport sectors included in the study.
2. That the market is very important in terms of economic dimension and has an unquestionable international scope(billions of euros for the international and global market per year).
3. It can be also concluded that the market can be segmented by kind of fleet operator, with particular needs and concern degree, depending of its nature and organizational structure (ADN focuses on a target market of approximately 220 million euro per year at European level). Policies and regulations are increasingly supporting the adoption of these techniques from and by the different organizations.

On the other hand:
• ADN solution matches the needs of the market specially that of those fleet operators more concerned about Social Corporate Responsibility.
• Other market products approach and existent solutions are far away of satisfying these needs.
• ADN will be able to provide a TRL9 product satisfying market needs.
• ADN organization is prepared to scale up the commercialization with a feasible plan to cope with the demand and reach the international market.
• ADN has established some key alliances to encourage market replication and accelerate the commercialization process.
• Efficient driving advantages will become a global concern, where market products and solutions will cope with the demand in the benefit of all the society.
• Efficient driving implementation will save large amounts of fuel and avoid tons of pollutant gasses emissions, estimated for the target market in 921.600 Tns of CO2 per year.
