The deliverable will survey factors for fear of crime, the potential of citizens' engagement, and any related ethical issues. These surveys will draw on any already existing data but additional surveys and focus groups will be employed to select more targeted and focused information

Use cases, requirements, and key performance indicators.

This deliverable will use the studies and surveys conducted in Tasks 2.1 and 2.2 to elaborate on scenarios and use cases where the adoption of modern technologies can assist in tackling crime, encouraging two-way communication between stakeholders and increasing the perception of security in communities.

Gaps and challenges for addressing security threats in urban environments

The deliverable is providing the analysis on the state of the art and challenges on addressing security in large urban environments. Deliverable D2.1 shall be related solely to tackling crime, and not draw upon or produce classified information.
