3D modelling of the hybrid cooling system for demonstration / marketing purposes as well constructability reviews and results. The model will be created in a typical commercial software CAD package and stored in electronic files.
Deluge test bundle constructed and commissioned at the relevant industrial site. This would involve the successful installation of the test bundle at the test site in Morocco, complete with all the measuring and data logging equipment. A visual inspection and data analysis strategy will also be in place.
Full-scale CSP cooling fanFull-scale CSP cooling fan manufactured and installed for testing. The full-scale CSP cooling fan will be installed in the full-scale test facility near SUN together with all measurement apparatus and data logging equipment.
Scale model of CSP cooling system fanScale model of CSP cooling system fan manufactured and installed in wind-tunnel for testing. The deliverable will be a manufactured, scaled model.
Delivery test facilityDelivery of manufactured components to test site, installation and commission of test facility. This will involve the successful construction of the full scale hybrid cooling unit. The installation of all measuring and data logging equipment will also be completed together with a strategy for data capturing and analysis.
30ft reference fan complete30 ft reference fan manufactured and installed for testing. This fan will be delivered and installed in the existing air-cooled condenser of Matimba power station, RSA.
