Course material of new and existing courses for BVM (s’ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre)

All courses within the BVM curriculum will be developed according to the content and templates of D2.1. The course material (course lay-out, lecture slides, supporting text, exercises and data sheets if applicable) will be collected in D2.2. as a basis for dissemination of courses.

BET regional know-how outreach report (s’ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre)

Report summarising BET outreach activities focussed on HEIs providing support for regional bioenergy initiatives. This report will analyse success factors of this initiatives and critically assess the tools used in BET regional know how outreach activities, making them transferable to other regions.

Interdisciplinary student camp to solve real world problems. Definition of the problem will be provided in co-operation between academic instructors and business BET business partners within the general topic of regional bio-resource utilisation.

Joint lab course for groups at pilot plant installation one BET business partners, supervised by academic as well as business experts, aiming at providing students with “real world” technical experience.

Conference on HEI Regional Outreach Programs (s’ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre)

The conference will address the outcomes of the BET outreach activities focussed on HEIs providing support for regional bioenergy initiatives. The conference will present the success factors of this initiatives and critically assess the tools used in BET regional know how outreach activities, making them transferable to other regions.

The Development Framework for the Bioresource Utilisation Curricula will take the form of a conference. It will contain specific content definition for courses, assignment of courses to different teaching modes (direct contact courses, MOOC based courses), course material templates as well as scheduled placements of students at industrial partners will be discussed

Conference on Cooperative Educational Formats (s’ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre)

The conference will report on Industry-HEI Cooperation on Education. It will report detailing experiences within BET with regards to linking business partners and HEIs in bioenergy education. This deliverable aims at making the experiences of BET transferable to other SET Plan sectors.

BET regional awareness raising report (s’ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre)

Report summarising BET outreach activities focussed on HEI role in raising awareness on the regional level for bioresource utilisation and bioenergy systems. This report will analyse success factors in HEI-regional awareness raising activities and provide guidelines transferable to other SET-plan sectors as well as other regional settings.

Catalogue of educational standards to be met by curricular courses (WP 1 & 2) as well as Cooperative educational Formats (WP 3) to guarantee practice relevance of education according to SET Plan guidelines. Aim of this delivery is to provide a quality assurance matrix for development of BET courses.
