Resumen del contexto y de los objetivos generales del proyecto

NEXIONA has an application called MIIMETIQ and it’s a very advanced and powerful IOT solutions composer. One of main reasons of creating MIIMETIQ LITE is act as a MIIMETIQ entry product. Because it’s based on MIIMETIQ on the same architecture and is possible to migrate from LITE to the original MIIMETIQ. NEXIONA has created a new layer on top of some of the MIIMETIQ services to get multi-tenant features compatibility and new simple and really easy to use UI (User Interface).

Because of the distributed architecture of the product is possible to work in decoupled groups and focus at the same time. Because of that it’s important to invest some time together validating and joining parts. Software products has a lot of points of failure and when something is arranged after a problem it’s important to validate as automatic as it’s impossible other things are not broken.

A business innovation plan has been defined in parallel with the development of our solution. In addition the communication plan for MIIMETIQ LITE and MIIMETIQ ARCHITECT was defined based on the vision, mission and values of our company and will also articulate the key messages around the USP (Unique Selling Point) towards competition.

Development, integration and testing of MIIMETIQ LITE. The entire process ended with the release of MIIMETIQ LITE version 1 with its reference manual and get ready to be sold. Having also a continuous integration infrastructure for testing product QA validate product quality along time not only the first release.
For the testing and piloting with MIIMETIQ LITE we have trained two tentative customers one of them signed with us to use MIIMETIQ LITE as a platform on cloud to manage their Smart Meter solutions.

MIIMETIQ LITE makes it for a technology like this to be adopted by a wider audience not only software engineers but also by industrial, automation and other engineers. MIIMETIQ LITE is our entry product because the initial MIIMETIQ product is too sophisticated for the mass market. Our goals are to reduce time for sales and fit better to the market requirements. MIIMETIQ LITE also offers the possibility to create fast prototypes.
