Smart Technologies for the Conversion of Industrial Lignins into Sustainable Materials

Deliverables

Guidance report to R&D policy makers and recommendations for standardisation

Instead of a routine techno-economic study, a diffusion path analysis will made for the newly developed processes and products. The analysis aims at the identification of barriers and incentives that will influence the success rate of new products and technologies. In context of the development of knowledge-based bio-economies this is especially useful assessing key topics like recommendations for the standardisation of the developed bio-chemicals and materials in order to facilitate the market uptake of the developed products or a detailed comparison of materials (e.g. value-performance-relations).
