Project overview report

A public report giving an overview of the project is created. The report explains the project motivation and history, the main developments and achievements and first experiences from the field trial. Estimates for key performance indicators are provided when available. The report can be used as a basis for other dissemination activities. It will be updated at the project end with further results from the field trial.

Service manual (prescriptions and instructions to installer)

Service and installation manuals will be created relating to the new design of the unit

Project overview report update

The project overview report from D1.7 is updated with data and experiences from the last project period, in particular with results from the field trial.

Guidelines for creating easily understandable service manuals

The guidelines for creating easily understandable service manuals as described in Task A description are delivered. The guidelines include example instructions and best practice recommendations for the following three topics: - general understanding of mCHP - maintenance and component exchange procedures - system performance, based on indicators and efficiency checks. The guidelines are refined through testing by non-specialised co-workers and building energy system technicians and installers.

Report with proposals deducted from the fuel cell µCHP field trials

Summary report of all the findings of the all the different field trials. This includes the overall cost of service for those field trials.

Final Report of the design changes of the SOFC CHP system

The final report includes the comparison of the estimated improvement to the reached aims and also further information on future improvement

Interim report with preliminary results

Report presenting the questionnaire structure and the preliminary results.

Report after first season of operation

First review and assessment of field operations gathered data against preliminary predictions. Average data parameter calculation and variance analysis against forecasted data. Customer feedbacks collection. Evaluation of possible improvements, if any required.

Final report of the field tests

The final report of the field tests consists of assessed, reviewed and finally accepted Design To Service installation and commissioning manuals plus post installation service reports

Project web site

After six month a D2Service website with all information of the project and of the project partner should be created by Next Energy. This website is maintened until the end of the project with publications and the statuses of the project. EXTERNAL WEBSITE: Elements of the external website o General information on the projects (scope and contents, partners, contacts, etc.) o Press news o Event calendar o E-mail registration for further information o Detailed information according project status. INTERNAL WEBSITE: Knowledge transfer and communication between the project participants will be continuous during the project via email, internal web-based communication tools, phones or regular and small-group meetings. They will also be accomplished by personal meetings and training aiming at generating strong relationships and trust between researchers. The internal web-based communication and dissemination tool will be used for project participants to share ideas and comments, whereby the distinct definition of roles and access rights allow open discussion in each sub-part of the project. The communication tool will be designed to be intimate and attractive “as if we were working neighbors”. Core elements of the internal website are: o Repository (Documents) o Archive (communications, correspondence,...) and history o Specific information to partners o WP specific project management (deliverables, last results, WP documentations…) o Support of coordination o Event calendar for coordinated delegation of project members. The internal website is a crucial part of the project management task. It organizes the communication flow among the project members taking into account their different roles and responsibilities and acts as the project repository. It will be built on the proven concept applied during the proposal set-up phase. The internal repository will host all relevant project documentation, i.e. any type of project report and financial overviews. Additional information on actualities, e.g. conference reports, latest RTD news, will be provided. Partners may use this internal information platform to announce items of general interest to other consortium members, e.g. inform on availabilities for staff exchanges, etc. The e-mail archive documents each mail sent to defined members lists. The member lists can be adapted by needs. The archive therefore documents a helpful history of the project information exchange. All meetings – their preparation and the documentation of results – will be documented on the internal website.
