Periodic Reporting for period 1 - Innosupport (Innovation Management Support for SMEs)

Période du rapport: 2015-01-01 au 2016-12-31

The described strategy in the FPA was successfully implemented by all partners.
The objective was to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of innovation processes in small and medium sized enterprises with significant innovation. This service, provided independently from a specific innovation project and focussing on a company's innovation management system
The two SME instrument beneficiaries in Rheinland-Pfalz did not led to a coaching but four EIMC cases were finished in the reporting period.
Even if we only performed four EIMC cases the results and consequences in the management of the companies had a great impact.
Cooperation agreements with regional stakeholders (ISB an IHK) will help to promote the service in the next period.
In Saarland were no successful beneficiaries of the SMEs Instrument. Therefore EURICE had no clients in WP 1within the reporting period.
In Rheinland-Pfalz two successful SME Instrument Phase 1 cases were served. Both cases started in 2015 were the coaching database was not finished (see also comments in Section 2). After extended search for a proper coach no qualified coach could be found and as a result the coaching was not accepted by the beneficiaries.

In 2015/16, four regional SMEs used EIMC services to strengthen their innovation management capacity. The SME status of both SMEs has been positively checked. Two clients from Saarland and two companies are located in Rheinland-Pfalz. In three of these cases improve was used in one case the NBank tool was chosen.
After the Innovation Management Assessment the Manager of TIM changed processes within the company and then applied for the TOP 100 award.
TIM convinced the jury by their success in innovation and their innovation management. The Viennese professor Dr. Nikolaus Franke and his jury team evaluated the enterprises critically according to business management criteria as well as systematic and structural aspects.
