Deliverables
A report will be written detailing the different components within the device, and the companies selected as part of this project to manufacture/assemble/construct/deliver them. Details will be given describing each companies suitability for the tasks described.
Report on device classification in key marketsA report will be written detailing the progress made regarding classification of Floating Power Plant’s device. It will include the positive and negative points of each classification type for application to the device, based on the information learned from the experts contacted as part of this project. Details will be given of the direction most suitable for Floating Power Plant, giving clear reasons.
Report on needed certifications and documentation for certification processA report will be written describing the currently available certification procedures, and their suitability for Floating Power Plant’s device. Also included will be potential options for developing further certification procedures more specifically applicable to Floating Power Plant. Comparisons will be made regarding the time-lines, costs and reputation associated with each procedure.
Report on selected and contracted siteA report will be written briefly describing several sites which were investigated as part of the project, including an analysis of their suitability for Floating Power Plant’s P80 device. Special attention will be made to the site deemed most suitable, with a clear description of how the site can be used including the logistics relating to each of the value chain, O&M, grid connection etc.
Summary report of policy engagements and feedbackA report will be written describing the engagements made as part of this project with key decision makers connected to regulatory frameworks and decision processes. Focus will be made on ensuring that Floating Power Plant gets access to all key areas, despite its position as the developer of the world’s only hybrid device with offshore experience.
The website will be modified to reflect the current market and business direction of Floating Power Plant. It will include links to any published documents in which Floating Power Plant is included, updated news articles describing key points of interest and progression for Floating Power Plant (including the success of this Horizon 2020 application).
