Adaptation to a New Economic Reality

CORDIS provides links to public deliverables and publications of HORIZON projects.

Links to deliverables and publications from FP7 projects, as well as links to some specific result types such as dataset and software, are dynamically retrieved from OpenAIRE .

Deliverables

WORLD model (alpha version) (opens in new window)

The WORLD model will allow the modelling of long term resource economics, the race on resources and the big power resource politics. This will be a very important decision support tool for the EC and the EU.

Teaching materials from training workshops (opens in new window)

Teaching materials will be put together and deliverd as a series of reading materials and slides so that the ESRs can prepare for the workshops and get the most out of them.

Communication and dissemination plan (opens in new window)

A report will be written to outline the communication strategy of AdeptEconII - including webpage, mapping channels nationally, within the EU and internationally, as well as academic journals and public magazines and social media for dissemination or fesults. A plan will be made for press releases.

Training plan (opens in new window)

A training plan will be prepared accodging to WP5 with detailed contributions from all university partners and partner organisations.

PhD thesis: Growth, de-growth, ecology, political ecology and the future (opens in new window)

Objectives: Develop the paradigm to be applied in running a society, a business environment and an economy of decreasing size with maintained service provision, sense of sufficiency and life quality. Address challenges for democracy and accountable state. Considering climate change and demographic challenges, using France or Sweden as case studies. Expected results: Strategies for the future in policy development, business strategies and change in economic science and political science education.

Annual training workshop and meeting reports (opens in new window)

At the end of every training workshop there will be a partner meeting and reports will be sent to the Commission after each one.

Policy recommendation report (opens in new window)

The WORLD model provide scenarios for future outcomes, and the development of indicators for desirable outcomes. This will be a decision support tool for the new economy.

Recruitment completion (opens in new window)

A report will be sent to the Commission once all ESRs have started work at the three universities.

Synthesis of all research outcomes (opens in new window)

All of the ESR projects will be integrated into the WORLD model.
