Deliverables

First Portal Release

This deliverable contains the releases of the portal as provided to the GSS/HPC community. Additionally it will provide a design for each release. It is planned to have intermediate sub releases which are covered by the major releases.

Fourth Portal Release

This deliverable contains the fourth release of the CoeGSS Portal as provided to the GSS/HPC community. In addition, this deliverable also provides an updated Portal architecture.

Third Portal Release

This deliverable contains the third release of the CoeGSS Portal as provided to the GSS/HPC community. In addition, this deliverable also provides an updated Portal architecture.

Second Portal Release

This deliverable contains the releases of the portal as provided to the GSS/HPC community. Additionally it will provide a design for each release. It is planned to have intermediate sub releases which are covered by the major releases.

First report on provided testbed components for running services and pilots

The report will provide an outcome of new HPC architectures which can be dominant in HPC environment in the near future – the aim is to prepare the outcomes based on tests done on real hardware.

Report of framework for prototyping of parallel Agent Based Modelling Systems (ABMs)

This deliverable provides an open source tool for prototyping parallel ABMs, that fits into the workflow of CoeGSS and allows for both spatial and social network interactions between agents.

Second Annual Report on Community Building

This annual report will present approaches, plans and achievements in community building in the centre.

Third specification of new methods, tools and mechanisms proposed for the support of the application user and programmer

This Report is a living document with three releases and will base on the content of D3.1. It provides an overview of identified gaps to close to provide the services (realized by Task 3.1 – 3.6) for HPC GSS as identified by the work on the pilots.

This meta-deliverable will comprise the activities and achievements of tasks 6.3 – 6.6.

This deliverable will present the achievements, challenges but also the feedback of the Pilots to the Centre of Excellence.

First Report on Pilot Requirements

This deliverable will present the requirements of the pilots to a Centre of Excellence for Global System Science and act as a steering document for the developments and operation in WP3 and WP5. This is a living document with different iterations to constantly identify changes in the requirements.

First Annual Report on Community Building

This annual report will present approaches, plans and achievements in community building in the centre.

Second report on provided testbed components for running services and pilots

As successor of the market analysis, this deliverable reports about new HPC architectures in (beta) operation. Thus, theory is brought into practice by the execution of real-world GSS application benchmarks, and proposing the best HPC architecture for GSS apps.

This deliverable will wrap up the achievements of WP3 and the realized methods, tools and mechanisms to support in the best way GSS applications on the basis of HPC.

Data Management Plan

The Data Management Plan will contain the types of data the project will generate or collect, the standards that will be used as well as how those data will be exploited, shared and reused. Finally it will contain how that data will be curated and preserved

This Report will provide a list and quick evaluation of available methods, tools and mechanisms which can be integrated off-the-shelf within the Centre of Excellences activities.

CoEGSS Website and Brand

This deliverable be the initial version of the website and the final design scheme for CoEGSS.

Documentation and software on new methods, tools and mechanisms for Release 3 of the Portal

This Deliverable will describe and provide the achievements in implementing the services as defined in D3.3 as far as they are realized to be integrated in Release 3 of the portal and the overall Centres workflows.

Documentation and software on new methods, tools and mechanisms for Release 2 of the Portal

This Deliverable will describe and provide the achievements in implementing the services as defined in D3.2 as far as they are realized to be integrated in Release 2 of the portal and the overall Centres workflows. The report will include also first results and description of DSL for assembling simulations within the GSS.
