Summary of the context and overall objectives of the project

DERMADROP TDA is a comprehensive wound therapy device for closure of chronic non-healing wounds as well as acute non-healing wounds. SME Instrument Phase I, provided the opportunity to manufacture the prototypes of DERMADROP TDA and to show its clinical application. The regulatory pathway for successful commercialisation of DERMADROP TDA was realised and relevant classification were performed and assessed. The feasibility study was performed in two different streams: clinical and manufacturing feasibility and commercial feasibility. In conclusion, the feasibility study demonstrated that DERMADROP TDA can become the gold standard of wound therapy for closure of non-healing wounds.

a 7-years business planning was studied to the extent possible.
Technical and clinical design determined
Prototype of the DERMADROP compartments device, formulations and skin patch were manufactured.
Quotations were obtained for the clinical study from two different subcontractors

The final result was a feasibility study that throughly examined the business idea and a business plan that clarifies the execution path of the business idea and expected commercial outcome.
