Risk Analysis & Management Plan

Procedures to identify and manage risk areas, and consider the effects on resources, deadlines and the quality of results will be defined in this document. Protocols to mitigate these risks through mediation or a change of responsibilities will be also described. Definition of success criteria and metrics, which will be used to assess the probability of risks during the project, will be included as well.

Dissemination Strategy

LIQBIOPSENS dissemination strategy will be defined. The strategy includes a detailed definition of LIQBIOPSENS target audience. Furthermore the strategy will define a detailed timeline for the outputs of the following tasks. The strategy shall ensure that the updates of the website, the reports and events continuously accompany the project’s progress and support each other.

User manual explaining how to install and use the control software of the LIQBIOPSENS platform.

Project Handbook

Document to specify: • Well defined communication procedures and document distribution • Time and resource control against the deliverables’ due dates • Accurately timed progress reporting to the commission • Efficient and productive project meetings.

Planning test phase report

Report summarizing the planning of the test stage. It will include detailed information about sampling procedure, schedule of assays to be carried out and alternative assays employing gold-standards for validation.

Plan containing all sources of technology surveillance that are relevant for LIQBIOPSENS consortium. Definition of periodicity and responsibility for monitoring and proposing innovation actions. Specification of a method to obtain and record innovation data. A specific TF database template to save all the records for a periodic analysis.

Revision of the user manual of the LIQBIOSENS platform (D 4.5) including the description of the measurement protocols.

Validation Report

Report containing the conclusions about the validation of LIQBIOPSENS in real environment. Comparison of LIQBIOPSENS results with Gold-standard methods to perform point mutation analysis [e.g. sanger sequencing, pyrosequencing, next-generation sequencing (NGS), and PCR-based methods] will be included in the report.

Multicriteria decision making mechanisms

Definition of decision making mechanisms for innovation management. Development of a multicriteria matrix for quantitative evaluation of innovation proposals. Criteria taken into account will include: expected development time of the innovative idea, equipment needed, human resources needed, expected improvement in market acceptation

Project Website

The project website will present the project and its results to the wider public and to the research community who are interested in LIQBIOPSENS progress. The website will also be designed to remain a permanent source of information even after the project end. The first step will be the project-branding i.e. creation of a project logo and a uniform graphic layout including design elements that will be also used in the following tasks.

Project Intranet

Collaborative working environment developed as a private part of the project website. It will enable all the partners to share reports and deliverables. Furthermore it will include a common project calendar, a section for templates of reports and deliverables and the minutes of all project meeting and events.
